Layered Caramelized Onion and Cranberry Spread image

Caramelized onions and crispy chopped bacon lend their sweet and smoky appeal to this creamy layered cranberry spread.

Yield 1-1/2 cups spread or 12 servings, 2 Tbsp. each

Number Of Ingredients 5

3 slices OSCAR MAYER Bacon, chopped
1 onion, thinly sliced
2 tsp. GREY POUPON Dijon Mustard
1 pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese
1/2 cup drained canned whole berry cranberry sauce

Steps:

  • Cook and stir bacon in small skillet on medium heat until crisp. Remove bacon from skillet with slotted spoon; drain on paper towels. Add onions to drippings in skillet; cook and stir 5 min. or until crisp-tender. Return bacon to skillet; stir in mustard.
  • Cut cream cheese horizontally in half with sharp knife; place bottom half on plate. Top with half the onion mixture. Repeat layers.
  • Top with cranberry sauce.
