Steps:
- Cream butter and gradually beat in sugar. Add egg yolk and beat well. Sift the flour and stir into creamed mixture alternately with almonds. Knead mixture lightly and form into ball. Dough may be crumbly. Roll small pieces of dough into balls slightly larger than the size of hazelnuts. Place on greased try and bake in slow oven (300F) for 25-30 minutes. While still warm, toss cookies in confectioner's sugar. Place on wire rack to cool. Add extra sugar to storage container after packing. Recipe can be doubled for large batch.
