Quick, easy and yummy! I like to use either walnuts or pecans but really any kind of nut or combinations of nuts will work.

Steps:
- 1. Melt butter in large saucepan. Add vanilla, sugar, egg, and dates and simmer over medium heat until thick. Remove from heat. Mix in nuts and Rice Krispies.
- 2. Allow to cool until mixture can be handled
- 3. 3.Grease hands and form into small balls
- 4. Roll balls into coconut
