Steps:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
- Melt butter and beat with sugar.
- Add eggs one at a time until blended.
- Sift dry ingredients and add alternately with milk.
- mash 1/2 cup blueberries ( I use the mushy ones for this) and stir into the batter.
- Add the rest of the berries whole and stir in by hand.
- Grease top surface of muffin tins well and line with baking cups.
- Pile batter high in each muffin cup.
- Sprinkle the 2 tbsp of sugar over the top of the muffins.
- Bake at 375 F for 30 minutes.
