JERK SAUCE image

Number Of Ingredients 11

1 habanero chili, seeded or not and coarsely chopped
1 clove garlic, coarsely chopped
1 medium onion, coarsely chopped
1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg, to taste
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 teaspoons brown sugar
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon cider vinegar

Steps:

  • Place all the ingredients in a food processor and process until chopped as fine as possible. Use right away or store in the refrigerator for up to a week.
