Jello Frosted Cookies image

Coconut cookies with tangy frosting made with Jell-O.

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 pkg refrigerated sugar cookie dough
1 c flaked coconut
1/2 tsp coconut extract
FROSTING:
4 oz cream cheese, softened
2 Tbsp jell-o flavor of your choice
1/2 c powdered sugar
1 tsp corn syrup, light

Steps:

  • 1. In a large bowl, combine cookie dough, coconut and coconut extract. Knead until well-mixed. Roll dough out to 1/4-inch thick. Use cookie cutters of your choice to cut out different shapes. Bake at 350 ^ for 12-14 minutes. Remove to cool on wire racks. Beat cream cheese,corn syrup, Jell-O and powdered sugar until combined. Spread on cookies.
