1 HEAD ROMAIN LETTUCE, SHREDDED
1 CUP CELLERY, CHOPPED
4 GREEN ONION, CHOPPED
1/4 CUP CHOPPED CILANTRO
1 CAN MANDARIN ORANGES, DRAINED
DRESSING: 1/2 TSP. SALT
1/2 TSP. PEPPER
2 TBS. SUGAR
2 TBS. CIDER VINEGAR
1/4 CUP SALAD OIL
10 - 13 DROPS TABASCO SAUCE

Steps:

  • SUGARED ALMONDS: 4 TBS. SUGAR 1 CUP SLIVERED ALMONDS. TOSS OVER LOW HEAT UNTIL SUGAR MELTS AND STICKS TO ALMONDS. POUR OUT ON WAX PAPER. TOSS SALAD INGREDIENTS WITH ALMONDS AND DRESSING JUST BEFORE SERVING. ADDING ALMONDS LAST.
