Steps:
- Sweat the shallots in oil until tender. Add Jack Daniels and burn off alcohol. Add BBQ sauce, sugar, honey and water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for half hour. Puree sauce. If the sauce is not thick enough add the slurry and bring to proper consistency. Be sure to cook for 10min to lose cornstarch taste. Salt and pepper to taste
