Italian-Style Chili image

A traditional chili with cumin and beans gets an Italian twist with sausage and spaghetti sauce in this hearty family-pleaser.

1 pkg. (1 lb.) Italian sausage, casings removed
1 green pepper, chopped
1 onion, chopped
1 jar (24 oz.) CLASSICO Tomato and Basil Pasta Sauce
1 can (15.5 oz.) kidney beans, drained
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. ground cumin
1/4 cup KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese, divided

Steps:

  • Crumble sausage into large skillet; cook on medium heat 5 min. or until evenly browned, stirring occasionally. Add peppers and onions; cook 5 min., stirring frequently.
  • Add pasta sauce, beans, seasonings and 2 Tbsp. cheese; stir. Simmer 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
  • Serve topped with remaining cheese.
