Fun Fact: According to Google, Americans eat more than 300 million sandwiches every day - an amazing statistic since there are slightly more than 300 million Americans. The most popular sandwich in America is the standard ham sandwich (ham, cheese, and mustard or mayonnaise), followed by the BLT.

Number Of Ingredients 16

1 large loaf of soft french bread
1 pound(s) deli ham
1/2 pound(s) very thin sliced hard salami
1/2 pound(s) very thin sliced sandwich style pepperoni
8 slice(s) thin slices provolone cheese
8 slice(s) mozzarella cheese
1 small tomato sliced very thin (i use a mandoline slicer)
2 cup(s) shredded lettuce
CONDIMENT SUGGESTIONS
- mayonnaise
- mustard
- italian dressing
- sliced banana peppers
- banana peppers
- sliced red onion
- pickles

Steps:

  • Slice bead in half through the middle.
  • layer ham, salami, pepperoni, provolone, mozzarella, thin sliced tomato and lettuce onto bread.
  • Place top half of bread on top of lettuce layer.
  • Wrap tightly in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours.
  • Slice into 6-8 sandwiches. Serve.
  • Tip: I use an electric knife for all the slicing.
