Italian Fish Soup image

Call it zuppa di pesce or call it Italian Fish Soup. Either way, you'll call it your new favorite fish soup recipe when you see how easy it is to make!

Yield Makes 5 servings, 1 cup each.

Number Of Ingredients 10

2 Tbsp. KRAFT Lite Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing
1/2 cup finely chopped onions
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 can (14.5 oz.) no-salt-added diced tomatoes, undrained
1 can (14.5 oz.) fat-free reduced-sodium chicken broth
1/2 tsp. dried basil leaves
1/4 tsp. dried oregano leaves
1/2 lb. halibut fillets, cut into bite-size chunks
1/2 lb. cod fillets, cut into bite-size chunks
3 Tbsp. KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese

Steps:

  • Heat dressing in medium saucepan on medium heat. Add onions; cook and stir 4 min. or until crisp-tender. Add garlic; cook and stir 1 min.
  • Stir in next 4 ingredients. Bring to boil; simmer on medium-low heat 5 min.
  • Add fish; simmer 5 min. or until fish flakes easily with fork. Serve topped with cheese.
