Italian Cookies image

My grandmother who came from Sicily always made these cookie at Christmas time, it has been passed down and is a family favorite any time of the year. The same dough can be used to make a drop cookie (add a walnut or pecan on top) or put into a cookie press and make a flower cookie with a pinch of cherry in the center.
