ISRAELI CHICKEN image

Cut up chicken
4 t prepared Dijon mustard
1 t salt ¼ t pepper
1 small onion, chopped
1 C orange juice
¼ C brown sugar
2 T butter

Steps:

  • Spread chicken skin with mustard, salt, pepper. Place skin side down in baking dish. Add butter, onion and orange juice. Bake 375 (baste halfway) for 20 minutes. Turn skin side up; stir the sugar into juices in the dish and continue baking about 40 min. Remove chicken when finished and in saucepan reduce sauce.
