HONEY WHEAT BUTTERMILK BREAD image

Number Of Ingredients 11

Put ingredients in this order in the breadmachine:
1 Cup + 1 Tbsp. Buttermilk (or 4 Tbsp.+ 1/4 tsp. of buttermilk powder to 1 cup + 1 Tbsp. water)
2 Tbsp. Honey
2 Tbsp. canola oil
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
2 1/2 cups bread flour or all-purpose flour
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/3 cup flaxmeal
1/3 cup wheat bran
2 tsp. yeast

Steps:

  • Use whole wheat cycle for 1&1/2 lbs. and light crust (this works best for the Breadman breadmachines) you may not need to do light crust with other brand machines.
