HONEY ONION VINAIGRETTE image

Delicious to have on your favorite salad.

Number Of Ingredients 4

3/4 c canola or light olive oil
1/2 c sweet onion , chopped or vidalia (when in season)
1/4 c cider vinegar
1/4 c honey

Steps:

  • 1. Place one Tablespoon of oil in saucepan and heat over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and cook stirring frequently until browned and caramelized, about 5 minutes.
  • 2. Pour in cider vinegar and stir well to loosen bits on bottom of pan.
  • 3. Pour entire contents into blender. Add remaining oil. Blend on high for two minutes until well blended. Refrigerate several hours before serving.
