HONEY & CHERRY CHUTNEY image

Yield 2 Cups

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 (14-1/2 oz.) can pitted tart cherries, undrained
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup cider vinegar
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/8 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp. water

Steps:

  • In a small saucepan, bring the first seven ingredients to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 15 minutes or until slightly thickened. Stir in walnuts. Combine cornstarch and water until smooth. Stir into the pan. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened.
