Homemade Granola image

This is a great recipe to customize the way you want. Substitute ingredients that you love to make it your own.

Number Of Ingredients 10

3 1/2 cup(s) rolled oats
3 tablespoon(s) flax seeds
3 tablespoon(s) sesame seeds
1/2 cup(s) sliced almonds
1 teaspoon(s) sea salt
1/4 cup(s) brown sugar (ideal sugar free sweetener)
1/4 cup(s) oil (canola/pumpkin/hazelnut)
2 tablespoon(s) honey
2 teaspoon(s) pure vanilla extract
2 cup(s) mixed dried fruit

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375.
  • Line rimmed baking sheet with foil.
  • In a large bowl combine all ingredients except the dried fruit and stir well.
  • Spread mixture on the baking sheet in an even layer. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes stirring every 10 minutes. (I find 20 to 25 mins is best)
  • Remove granola from the oven and cool completely.
  • Once granola is cool, mix in the dried fruit.
