HOLLY DOLLIES
Steps:
- Heat oven to 350 degrees. In medium bowl combine butter, sugar, egg, molasses and spices. Mix well. Stir in salt, soda and flour. Dough will be very stiff. Chill at least one hour. Roll out dough to 1/8 inch thick. Cut with gingerbread boy and girl cutters. Place on lightly greased cookie sheets. Use a straw to cut hole in each cookie for hanging on tree. Bake for 8-9 minutes. Cool completely on wire racks. Decorate with colored icing. Let icing harden then hang on tree with brightly colored ribbon or yarn.
