Number Of Ingredients 9

1 pkg chocolate cake mix-prepare as directed
Filling
3/4 c sugar
1 stick butter
2/3 c crisco
1 small can evaporated milk
2 t vanilla
salt pinch
1 can chocolate frosting

Steps:

  • Make cake as directed. Combine filling ingredients and beat for 20 minutes until fluffy. Spread filling over cold cake and cool or freeze. Warm chocolate frosting over low heat or microwave to spread easier. Frosting over cold or frozen filling. Freezes good.
