HELL'S KITCHEN CHILI image

Number Of Ingredients 14

3T oil
1 onion chopped
4 cloves of garlic
3t chili powder(s)
2t cumin
1t red pepper flakes or other
1t dry oregano
2lb beef bottom round or other 1/2" cubed
28 oz can crushed tomatoes
2C beef stock
1/4C tomato paste
3 thick slices of Canadian bacon diced
1T sugar
salt&pepper

Steps:

  • 1. 2T oil in your pot with onion and all spices. Cook for 5-10 min to soft. Add garlic. 2. Add last 1T of oil and meat - brown. 3. Add stock, crushed tom, tom paste, bacon and sugar. Bring to simmer and cook 2 hours uncovered. Cover when thick as you want. 4. salt and pepper to taste.
