Heavenly Cloud Bread image

These are not really bread, but similar. Baking time will vary, depending on your oven. I found the larger size mounded up higher stayed a little puffier when cooled. Can be stored in a plastic storage bag for a day. Could become soggy any longer stored.

Number Of Ingredients 4

3 large eggs, separated
1/4 teaspoon(s) cream of tartar
1 tablespoon(s) granulated sugar
2 ounce(s) cream cheese, softened

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchmont paper. Whip egg whites and cream of tartar to stiff peaks
  • In separate bowl, hand blend sugar, cream cheese and egg yolks til smooth. Then fold into whipped egg whites.
  • Spoon onto baking sheet caredully, mounding into 6 medium or several smaller mounds. Bake immediately. After 10 minutes, watch carefully til surfaces are browned. Be careful not to burn.
  • Serve plain, with jam, cheese or any creative way. These are like egg bread with a little sweetness.
