1 cup milk
1 egg
2 tablespoons butter, cut up
2 1/2 cups bread flour
3/4 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup wheat germ
3 tablespoons packed brown sugar
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon active dry yeast or 1 teaspoon bread machine yeast

Steps:

  • This makes an 1 1/2 pound loaf.
  • Add the ingredients to the machine according to manufactures directions.
  • Select whole grain cycle or basic white bread cycle.
