Ham Macaroni And Cheese Freezer Recipe image

this is a good mac and cheese you can eat some now or save for later use

Number Of Ingredients 7

8 oz macaroni, elbow
1 1/2 c diced cooked ham
2 Tbsp butter
1/4 c cheddar cheese, shredded
3 eggs
1 c milk
salt and pepper, to taste

Steps:

  • 1. Cook macaroni noodles according to package instructions. Drain and rinse.
  • 2. In same pot, then saute the diced ham in butter, stirring constantly to prevent burning, for about 3-4 minutes.
  • 3. Add noodles to ham, then stir in cheese until melted.
  • 4. In a small bowl combine the eggs with the milk, beating until well combined.
  • 5. Season with prefered amount of salt and pepper, then add to macaroni. Allow to cool and place in a freezer container.
  • 6. On cooking day, place in casserole and bake in 400 oven for 40-45 minutes, stirring a couple of times while baking.
