GRILLED TUNA & SPICY PINEAPPLE SALSA image

Number Of Ingredients 8

1/4 medium fresh pineapple, peeled and cut into 1/2 inch slices
1/2 scallion (spring onion), diced
2 Tbsp celery
1 jalapeno pepper
1 tbsp cilantro
2 tuna steaks 3 oz each
1 tsp olive oil
salt, pepper, lemon juice

Steps:

  • 1. Grill pineapple slices & celery , uncovered, over medium heat for 5-7 minutes on each side. Chill for 30 minutes. 2. Dice the pineapple; place in a bowl. Stir in the onion, jalapenos,celery, cilantro and lime juice. Refrigerate for 1 hour or until chilled. 3. Brush tuna steaks with oil; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Grill, covered, over medium heat for 2 minutes on each side or until fish flakes easily with a fork. Serve with pineapple salsa.
