This is a spiced green tomato cake and is delicious. Great way to use those tomatoes before the frost gets them.

Steps:
- 1. Preheat oven to 350F
- 2. In mixing bowl beat sugar, oil or shortning, eggs, vanilla until smooth and creamy.
- 3. Sift together flour, salt, baking powder, cinnamon and nutmeg. Blend well.
- 4. Stir in pecans or walnuts, raisins, and tomatoes.
- 5. Pour in a 9X13 inch pan. Top with coconut if desired. Bake for one hour or until toothpick comes out clean.
- 6. Frost when cool with your favorite frosting or serve with whipped cream or Cool Whip.
