Green Rice image

If you want you can do what I do .. I rinse my rice tell it run clear then I put the rice in a pan and put water in it tell it reaches my 1st knuckle joint..starting at the top of the rice..Cook all the water out of the rice then put a lid on it and turn the burner off and let it steam its self..

Number Of Ingredients 6

2 c water
1 c rice
1/2 bunch parsley (chopped) rinse and squeeze dry
1 bunch scallions (diced)
1/2 stick butter
salt and pepper

Steps:

  • 1. Rinse rice till water is clear, then add to pan and cook normal.When done set to the side
  • 2. Meantime chopped parsley,place in a towel and rinse till water runs clear. Dice up the Scallions..
  • 3. Melt butter in skillet then add the scallions, cook for just a few min. Then add the rice and mix well add in the parsley..add Salt and Pepper.
