Great Pumpkin Dessert image

1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin
1 (12 ounce) can evaporated milk
4 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
1 (18 ounce) package yellow cake mix
3/4 cup butter
3 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 cup chopped walnuts

Steps:

  • Mix pumpkin, milk, eggs and sugar.
  • Add spice.
  • Transfer to a greased 9 x 13 baking dish.
  • Sprinkle with dry cake mix and drizzle with melted butter.
  • Top with walnuts.
  • Bake at 350ยบ for 1 hour or until knife inserted near center comes out clean.
  • Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
