Great Grandmother's 7-up cake. image

My Great Grandmother had hundreds of recipe's and I was fortunate enough to aquire them at her request, when she passed away.

Number Of Ingredients 6

3 cup(s) sifted floue( sift 2 or 3 times)
3 cup(s) sugar
5 - eggs
3 stick(s) margarine or butter softened(3/4/cups each may be used)
3/4 cup(s) 7-up soft drink
2 teaspoon(s) vanilla or lemon flavor

Steps:

  • Mix all ingredients together well,and bake in a pound cake or bunt cake pan for 1 hour at 350 degrees or until a knife inserted into the middle comes out clean.
