GRANDMA'S CHOCOLATE CHIP CAKE image

Number Of Ingredients 14

Stir together:
1 3/4 c. boiling water
1/2 c. butter
1 c. quick oatmeal
Beat in:
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. soda
1 T. cocoa powder
3/4 c. walnuts
1 3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. chocolate chips (1/2 in batter and 1/2 on top)

Steps:

  • Mix together and pour into a greased 9 x 13" pan. Bake 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
