Number Of Ingredients 5

1/2 cup(s) butter (1 stick)
1 1/2 cup(s) brown sugar
1/3 cup(s) cream
1 1/2 cup(s) confectioners' sugar, sifted
1 teaspoon(s) pure vanilla extract

Steps:

  • Gather ingredients; sift confectioners' sugar.
  • To a 2-3 quart saucepan, add butter, brown sugar and cream.
  • Bring to a boil for 2 minutes; remove from heat.
  • Immediately, beat in the confectioners' sugar and vanilla until smooth, then spread on cake.
