I CAN ALREADY TASTE THIS CAKE WITHOUT EVEN MAKING IT...THE TEXTURE OF A POUND CAKE WITH THE PECANS AND BROWN SUGAR TASTE. THIS WOULD BE A CAKE FOR SUNDAY DINNER...A DOLLUP OF COOL WHIP...WOW!!

1 3/8 box yellow cake mix
1 pkg 3.4 ounce vanilla instant pudding
4 eggs
2/3 c sour cream
2/3 c water
1/2 c oil
1 c brown sugar, firmly packed
1 c chopped pecans
2 tsp powdered sugar

Steps:

  • 1. HEAT OVEN TO 350F. BEAT FIRST 6 INGREDIENTS WITH MIXER FOR 3 MINUTES. ADD BROWN SUGAR AND NUTS; MIX WELL. POUR INTO BUNDT PAN SPRAYED WITH COOKING SPRAY. BAKE 1 HOUR OR UNTIL TOOTH PICK COMES OUT CLEAN. COOL CAKE 15 MINUTES. LOOSEN CAKE FROM SIDES OF PAN; INVERT ONTO A WIRE RACK. COOL COMPLETELY. SPRINKLE WITH POWDERED SUGAR.
