Steps:
- Place coffee grounds in filter in brew basket of coffee maker. Add 1 qt. (4 cups) water to coffee maker; brew. Cool.
- Microwave remaining 1/4 cup water on HIGH 1 minute. Pour into 2-qt. glass or plastic pitcher. Add sugar; stir until dissolved.
- Add milk, vanilla and coffee; mix well.
- Serve over ice.
