German Apple Cake image

Harvest time, Apples are Mr Bills favorite food. This is a very easy cake and the taste is something wonderful. hope you enjoy. xoxoxo ps. kids love this cake

3 large eggs
2 c sugar
1 c vegetable oil
1 tsp vanilla
2 c flour
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
4 c apples, chopped ( i use granny smith)
3/4 c pecans, chopped

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350*. grease a 9x13 pan and set aside. In Large bowl,combine eggs, sugar, oil and vanilla. Beat well.
  • 2. Combine flour, cinnamon, baking soda and salt; add to egg mixture and mix well. Fold in apples and nuts. Pour into prepared pan.
  • 3. Bake at 350* for 55 to 60 minutes. Cool on wire rack.
  • 4. Frosting: 1 8 oz cream cheese 2 teas. butter 2 cups powdered sugar In small bowl, beat cream cheese and butter. Add sugar, beat until smooth. Spread over cake and enjoy. Keep leftovers in frig. xoxoxo
