Garlic/Butter Chicken tenders w/fresh salad image

My husband and I love a really good salad so I came up with this one night just to be different. This is my way of having chicken salad. He thought all he was getting a sandwich.

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 pound(s) chicken tenders
3 tablespoon(s) butter
1/4 tablespoon(s) olive oil, extra virgin
1 clove(s) garlic, minced
- salt and pepper

Steps:

  • In a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat add butter, olive oil and garlic. Stir constantly until garlic is lightly browned, about 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Prepare chicken tenders with salt and pepper. Add to butter, olive oil and garlic. Cook 5 to 6 minutes until browned, turn and brown over side (about 3 minutes).
  • Place your favorite salad in the center of a serving plate and arrange chicken tenders around salad. Top with your favorite toppings.
  • This recipe is very flexible. Depending on the number of chicken tenders per person.
