Garlic and Herb Compound Butter image

This compound butter is filled with holiday herbs like rosemary, thyme, and sage. Easy to make, this will be a delicious addition to your holiday meal. It is great with steak or fish too.

2 stick salted butter, room temperature
3 clove garlic, minced
3 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley
1 Tbsp chopped fresh rosemary
1 Tbsp chopped fresh thyme
1 tsp chopped fresh sage
1 Tbsp lemon juice, fresh

Steps:

  • 1. Chop herbs. Mince the garlic. Squeeze lemon juice.
  • 2. In a medium bowl, with a spoon mix the butter, herbs, garlic, and lemon.
  • 3. On a piece of parchment paper, form the butter into a log shape.
  • 4. Roll up the parchment paper to help shape the log.
  • 5. Cut off the excess parchment paper and place butter in a resealable bag.
  • 6. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
