This sounds like a good recipe to try out after buying a big package of Bisquick to make Annette's 7-Up Biscuits. Pilfering through my typed recipes today in the Goodies section.

Steps:
- 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Butter an 13" x" 9" pan.
- 2. Combine the Sugar, Bisquick, Eggs, & Pecans, the melted Butter, Cherries, Raisins or Dates. Pour into the buttered pan.
- 3. Bake for 20 minutes. Sprinkle with the Confectioner's Sugar while still warm. Cool in pan for 10 minutes. Loosen edges with spatula & cut into bars.
- 4. NOTE: The plumped raisins I suppose means if you buy them & they are too dry. You could plump them in some water, maybe hot water. OR one better, maybe the day before plump them in some brandy or some other spirit that suits your fancy.
