Steps:
- 1. This is candy you can let the children make. Wash one cup each of figs, dates, and prunes; add one cup seeded raisins and walnut meats. Put all through the food chopper. Mix throughly and it is ready to use. Form into small balls, dip into melted chocolate and place on waxed paper to dry. Cherries, nuts, pieces of candied pinapple may all be used for the center; if fillings are used you may then call them surprise Balls; others may be dipped in fondant used for making candy baskets. This fruit is also delicious as a sandwich filling. Submitted by Cecelia Hawn, Wabash, Ind.
