I found this recipe in one of my cookbooks and thought it sounded interesting. 3-25-12 I made this salad dressing today and I believe it is how they probably make marshmallow fluff because that is what it reminds me of. It is very thick but also very tasty with the orange and lemon zest mixed in. It is sweet and would be great served with any tart, tangy or sour type fruit. I had some frozen cranberries so that is what I served it with and added a few pecans on top. It is very delish and compliments the tartness of the cranberry or would any type of fruit like it.

Steps:
- Combine sugar, corn syrup, and water; cook to thread stage (234 degrees).
- Beat egg whites until stiff;
- slowly add syrup while beating constantly. Cool.
- Fold in remaining ingredients; freeze. (This does not harden when frozen.) Makes 2 cups dressing.
- This is your finished frozen salad dressing. It is very thick like marshmallow fluff and would be great served on fruit that is more tart. I served it on some frozen cranberries, which normally I couldn't eat because they are so sour but with this dressing I certainly could. I added a few pecans on top too. This would be great with frozen grapes, kiwi, or just a mixture of frozen fruit. You can tast the lemon and orange zest in the dressing which I like too.
