Steps:
- 1. Mix first five ingredients together and simmer over med heat till mixture coats your spoon. Add vanilla. Cool
- 2. Add whipping cream and half & half to mixture and chill.
- 3. Pour into ice cream into icecream freezer - the ice cream took about 20 minutes in my freezer but I am sure that the times will vary from freezer to freezer. This yeilds approximately 1 gallon of ice cream.
