Steps:
- Fry the chicken in butter - the browner the better. Add chopped onions and saute. Take chicken and onions out of the pan. Add at least one tablespoon flour to the pan. Keep cooking until the flour gets dark. Add 1 can chicken broth (or water) a little at a time so that it still stays dark. Sprinkle salt & pepper. Sprinkle thyme and 1 bay leaf. Add chopped parsley. Cover and put in oven at 250 degrees (or on stove on simmer) for one hour.
