FANCY JUMBO SHELLS image

Number Of Ingredients 10

8oz package Jumbo Shells
2 cups Ricotta Cheese
1 8oz package Mozz. Cheese
1/2 cup parmesan
2 Eggs, slightly beaten
1 t. Salt (or less)
1 t. chopped parsley
1/2 t. Oregano
1/8 tsp. Pepper
3 cups Spaghetti Sauce

Steps:

  • Cook shells as directed, drain and dry in a single layer on a paper towel. Combine cheeses with egg, salt, parsley, oregano and pepper. Fill shells with 2 t. of mixture. Spread a thin layer of sauce in a 2 1/2 or 3qt. baking dish. Place shells, one deep, in dish and cover with part of sauce. Sprinkle with additional paremesan if desired. Bake at 350 for 35 minutes. heat remaining sauce and serve with shells. You can add 1/2 lb. ground beef to the cheese miture if you'd like. (I followed the recipe above and filled 24 shells)
