Steps:
- You will need a very large bowl. Pour sugar in the bowl. Make coffee, stir in hot coffee and dissolve the sugar. Let cool to room temperature.
- When cool, add whipping cream, milk and vanilla. Pour in a 1-gallon freezer bag. Freeze for at least 24 hours.
- Set out about 1 1/2 hours before serving. When it's slushy but not completly thawed (you don't want a liquid, you want a frozen slush consistency), pour into a punch bowl and serve.
- I always have 2 to 4 gallons made in the freezer for last-minute get-togethers.
- Tips:
- If you forget to set it out, set the bag in the sink and run COLD water over it. Smush until a slushy consistency and serve.
- Before freezing, divide into two 1-gallon bags for faster freeze and faster thaw.
