This recipe was sent to me by a former co-worker. This would be an excellent representation of Jesus' resurrection to be used in a Sunday School class.

Steps:
- 1. 350 degree oven. Prepare the ingredients in a little assembly line. Organize in this order: crescent roll dough (separated into triangles), marshmallows, melted butter, and cinnamon and sugar (mixed).
- 2. If using this in a Sunday School class, gather the children. Start each child with a marshmallow and a crescent roll triangle. Tell them that the marshmallow represents Jesus, holy and pure. The roll represents the linen wrapping that was placed about the body before burial.
- 3. Set the marshmallow in the center of the crescent roll and wrap it inside, pinching to seal tightly. The tighter it is sealed, the better it turns out. If not sealed tightly, the marshmallow goo escapes all over the place and is messy. Drop wrapped marshmallow into melted butter and cover thoroughly. This is representative of the embalming oils.
- 4. Next, roll the buttered roll in the cinnamon-sugar mixture. This represents the spices used to annoint the body. Place the rolls in a muffin pan to bake . Bake for 12 minutes. The oven represents the tomb in which Jesus' body was placed. Pretend the baking period is three days in length.
- 5. Remove the rolls and cool slightly. When the children open the rolls (burial cloth), they will discover that the body is gone! Christ is risen!
