This can be made with canned biscuits as a crust which makes it quicker but not nearly as good. This recipe came from a local newspaper several years ago. I like to use it for an appetizer or snack. It makes a lot so its good for parties, potlucks, or family gatherings. Don't use too many topping ingredients or dough will get soggy. Choose your favorite 2 or 3 for best results. Also rising time for yeast dough is not included in prep time or baking time. Rising adds an hour to this recipe. Everyone likes this, especially those young in body or mind. :)

- Grease a 9 by 13 inch baking pan and set it aside. In a medium bowl mix together peppeoni, cheese, seasonings, and any additional ingredients you wish to use. Set aside. Form thawed bread dough into 1-inch balls. Dip each ball into pizza sauce to coat LIGHTLY and place in greased pan. Cover pan and set in a warm place. Allow to rise until doubled in bulk.
- Spread set aside topping ingredients on top of prepared dough. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes. Time will vary based on inredients used in topping. If you use more it will take longer. Just watch and check crust for doneness. Remove from oven and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, if desired. Cool in pan for 5 to 10 minutes before removing. Serve warm.
