You can also add sauteed onion (as much as desired). I usually use 1/2 an onion. You can get creative and add cubed carrots (cooked until tender) or even peas. This is easy to make and beats packaged mexican rice any day.

- 1. In a skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add rice and cook until lightly browned. Add water and remaining ingredients, bring to a boil.
