Easy Grilled Tilapia image

Simple, quick marinade for an easy, tasty dinner of grilled tilapia. Add some rice and a veggie.

¾ cup olive oil
½ cup finely chopped fresh parsley
¼ cup red wine vinegar
2 cloves garlic, minced
½ lemon, juiced
1 tablespoon dried oregano
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
2 dashes hot pepper sauce (such as Tabasco®)
1 pinch sea salt to taste
4 (4 ounce) tilapia fillets

Steps:

  • Combine olive oil, parsley, vinegar, garlic, lemon juice, oregano, black pepper, hot sauce, and sea salt in a large, zip-top bag. Shake well. Add tilapia fillets and marinate in the mixture for 30 minutes.
  • Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat and lightly oil the grate.
  • Cook fillets on the preheated grill until they flake easily with a fork, about 5 minutes per side.
