Easy Flower Cupcakes image

Turn yellow cake mix into a garden of flower cupcakes. With COOL WHIP Whipped Topping and gumdrops, you're on your way to Easy Flower Cupcakes.

1 pkg. (2-layer size) yellow cake mix
1 pkg. (3 oz.) JELL-O Gelatin, any flavor
2 cups thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping
24 gumdrops
1 Tbsp. colored sugar

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F.
  • Prepare cake batter as directed on package; stir in dry gelatin. Spoon batter into 24 paper-lined muffin cups.
  • Bake 20 to 25 min. or until toothpick inserted in centers comes out clean. Cool in pans 10 min; remove to wire racks. Cool completely.
  • Place COOL WHIP in small resealable plastic bag seal bag. Snip small corner from bottom of bag; pipe COOL WHIP onto tops of cupcakes to resemble petals. Flatten gumdrops; place 1 in center of each cupcake. Sprinkle edges of petals with colored sugar.
