Number Of Ingredients 11

1 pound(s) package of frozen cooked meatballs (or homemade)
1 small onion, chopped
2 clove(s) garlic, minced
2 can(s) (10 oz.) mushroom soup
2 teaspoon(s) paprika
1/2 cup(s) water
1 cup(s) sour cream
1 package(s) (8 oz.) package cream cheese, softened
1/4 teaspoon(s) pepper
1/4 cup(s) chopped fresh parsley, optional
- cooked hot egg noodles

Steps:

  • Place all ingredients except sour cream, cream cheese, pepper, paprika, parsley and noodles in a 3-4 quart crock pot. Cover and cook on low for 5 hours.
  • In small bowl, mix sour cream, cream cheese, paprika and pepper; blend well. (I use an electric mixer) Add a spoonful of the hot liquid from the crockpot and blend with wire whisk. Add sour cream mixture to crockpot, stir well, cover, and cook on low 30-40 minutes until thickened and blended.
  • Serve over hot cooked rice or egg noodles. Sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley. Makes 4-6 servings
