Easy 4 Cheese Lasagna image

This lasagna recipe is a keeper. With an ooey-gooey cheesy melt, ground beef and pasta sauce, our Easy 4 Cheese Lasagna is a tried and true crowd-pleaser.

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 lb. (450 g) extra-lean ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 jar (650 mL) Classico di Napoli Tomato & Basil Pasta Sauce, divided
1 cup water
2 cups Cracker Barrel Shredded 4 Cheese Italiano Cheese, divided
1/2 cup Cracker Barrel Finely Shredded 100% Parmesan Cheese
9 oven-ready lasagna noodles, uncooked

Steps:

  • Brown meat with vegetables in large nonstick skillet. Add 2 cups pasta sauce, water, 1 cup 4 Cheese Italiano Cheese and Parmesan; mix well.
  • Spread remaining (plain) pasta sauce onto bottom of 13x9-inch baking dish sprayed with cooking spray. Cover with 3 noodles and 1/3 of the meat sauce; repeat layers twice. Cover.
  • Bake 30 min. Top with remaining 4 Cheese Italiano Cheese; bake, uncovered, 15 min. or until lasagna is heated through and cheese is melted. Let stand 10 min. before cutting to serve.
