Easiest Mushroom Sauce image

So easy. Serve with steak or as a condiment for steak hoagies.

Number Of Ingredients 5

2 cup(s) beef broth
1/2 cup(s) all-purpose flour
3/4 pound(s) mushrooms, diced
1/2 cup(s) chopped green onions - don't use the green part
1/2 cup(s) butter

Steps:

  • In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine broth, flour, mushrooms, green onions and butter. Cook, stirring constantly, until golden brown and thickened. Great over steak or steak hoagie.
